JAYZDRUM TRAX getting started, Aaron Pritchett nominated for a Juno and other music news
Hello everyone, sorry for the delay in posting, things are a bit crazy these days. Before I update you on the music stuff, I just wanted to let you know that my beautiful wife Laura and I have bought and are moving to a new home. There is lots of heavy stuff to move, so feel free to contact myself to help out 
Ok, so this JAYZDRUM TRAX thing, what is it you ask. Well myself and Brad Prosko have teamed up to offer drum tracks recorded online. This past Saturday we had an 11 song session and we were in Regina, the producer was in Eastend and the artist was in Shaunavon. We were linked together in a conference through Skype and the audio was streamed in real time through Comcast. It worked brillianty, we will have more audio and a video of the process posted up soon.
Next I want to congratulate Aaron Pritchett and Mitch Merrett on their Juno nomination. Aaron's album "Thankful" is nominated for country album of the year. We fire up the APB again this Friday night in Langely for a soldout show. I am looking forward to playing great music with my great friends, I am so lucky.Check out www.aaronpritchett.com for more details.
Music In The House is rolling along quite smoothly as well. We have just added 2 more instructors, bringing our staff up to 20. The students are having a blast and our theme of Motown this year is going fantastic. Go to www.musicinthehouse.ca for updates and news from the school.
The Learning Through The Arts program is also starting up soon. I have been involved in this education experience for the past 8 years and love every minute of it.
2009 is shaping up to be a very busy year of teaching and travel. I hope I can catch up with some of you on the road or in Regina when you are playing here.
