2009 BUSY SO FAR, UPCOMING EVENTS

20 April, 2009 by jayson

2009 Has kicked into high gear : Sessions, Teaching, Aaron Pritchett and another fantastic drum clinic with Kenny Aronoff !!!

Hey everyone, sorry for the late posting, things just got a little busy.

Well 2009 is underway and is looking to be a busy one. Music In The House is as busy as ever with new staff and students, and preperation for our June concerts is underway.

My Learning Through The Arts sessions in the public school board are going great as well. It is always a treat to work with the students and staff at the schools here in Regina.

I have been busy in the studio as of late with more sessions in the very near future. Recent releases with myself drumming include Amy Nelson, Foxx Worthee, Melissa Mannett and Samara Yung (along with Chad Cromwell on drums !).

Aaron Pritchett has been busy as of late as well. We were out in the Maritimes a few weeks ago, and we just finished up a 10 day trip through Western Canada. This year will see us going coast to coast again playing festivals and many other events across this great nation. Aaron's latest single and video "Hell Bent For Buffalo" is in heavy rotation across the country.

I have also been doing my monthly articles for The Black Page, as well as putting together an upcoming feature. It is a roundtable with 5 of Nashvilles best players, and promises to be a fantastic read. We are not sure when it will be out, but stay tuned for more details.

And finally for now, I am putting on another drum clinic here in Regina. The clinic will be with the one and only Kenny Aronoff, and will be on Thursday June 4 , 7:30 pm at The Exchange in Regina. There will also be more details on this as it approaches, you WILL NOT want to miss this event.

Take care for now and whatever you do, stay groovy
